Apparently the MBA didn’t come with an adulting manual.
Hi, I’m Kristen – and somewhere along the way, I apparently became the adult. Still not entirely sure who approved that.
I’m in my 40s, raising a teenager, building a career I’m proud of, and recently added an MBA to the mix. On paper, that sounds like I should have things pretty figured out. In reality, I’m still Googling things, overthinking things, laughing at things I probably shouldn’t, and wondering when exactly everyone else got the instruction manual.
This blog is where I talk about all of it – career, motherhood, dating, money. life in your 40s, and all the messy stuff in between. Not because I have all the answers, but because, I’m pretty sure most of us are just figuring it out as we go.
A Few Things About Me
Dodgers baseball. Country music. Concerts. A good glass of wine. Dogs. Family. Sarcasm. Buying tickets to things I probably don’t need to buy tickets to. And occasionally pretending I have my life together.
I’m equal parts ambitious and ridiculous, and I firmly believe life is way too short to take yourself too seriously.
